Walk-in Medical Care provides vaccines for Tetanus and Influenza.
Tetanus (Td)
The tetanus vaccine protects against tetanus and diphtheria. Several vaccines are used to prevent tetanus among children, adolescents, and adults including DTaP, Tdap, DT, and Td. It is recommended that everyone should have a tetanus shot every 10 years or in case of a deep cut or wound.

Influenza
A flu shot is the best way to prevent yourself from getting the flu. Common symptoms of the flu are fever, cough, sore throat, headache, chills, and fatigue. Each flu season everyone is encouraged to get a flu shot; especially those over the age of 50 or anyone with a chronic health problem.

We also offer Tb tests.
PPD (Tb test)
Tb is an infectious disease primarily affecting the lungs. Tb is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Common symptoms of Tb may include a prolonged cough, weakness, night sweats, fever, weight loss, loss of appetite, etc.

Tb tests are available in all Walk-in Medical Care locations. The Tb skin test is used to assess whether the individual has developed an immune response to the bacteria. A small amount of tuberculin is injected into the skin and 48-72 hours later trained medical staff can read the results.

We can also administer any vaccine given to you by your primary care doctor.
